When we were small and my brothers didn't want to wash their seriously manky hair, my mother would read us Judy Zavos' Murgatroyd's Garden, which was illustrated gorgeously by Drahos Zak. It is still one of my very favourite books of all time, and sadly appears to be out of print these days.
This moleskine design is pretty reminiscent of old Murgatroyd's mane. When I came across this in the Frankie blog, I had a tingling feeling all across my scalp and a terrible craving for children's shampoo. Or at least a pet bird for my hair.
